This is called the 4T Trail because it involves, tram (Portland Aerial Tram), train (MAX), trolley (Portland Street Car) and trails. The hiking section of the trail is about 4.5 miles, unless using an optional shortcourt that bypasses forest trails in favor of city streets. The trail part starts at the zoo, then heads to council crest via the Marquam trail, and over to OHSU.
Fees, Regulations, etc.
A two-zone Tri-Met pass lasting two hours ($2) for the MAX Train and Portland Street Car. Descending on the Aerial Tram from OHSU to the South Waterfront is free.
