- This trailhead is closed Jan 1st-July 15th to protect rare wildlife. The date sometimes changes so call ahead.
Driving Directions
From Portland, take Highways 99W and 18 toward Lincoln City. Just before Lincoln City, turn right on US 101, drive a 3.8 miles north to Forest Service Road 1861, which lacked a sign at my last visit. Turn left and drive for 3.0 miles to the trailhead.
