Driving Directions
Take Exit 3 off of I-405 for Highway 30W and St. Helens. Stay left and in the middle lane for about one mile until you reach the Nicolai Street traffic light.
Keep straight here on Yeon Avenue, which merges with St. Helens Road in 2.0 miles, and drive 5.0 miles.
Turn left (There’s a turning lane) for Germantown Road and then immediate left again onto NW Bridge Avenue.
Take the first right onto Germantown Road and wind up for 1.6 miles.
Pull into the main parking area for the Wildwood Trail on the left. You can also park alongside the road on the right.
Alternatives to Driving
No buses run up Germantown Road. However, Tri-met Bus #16 detours onto Bridge Avenue and stops at Springville Road and Germantown Road. The Ridge Trail leads up from Bridge Avenue to Leif Erikson Drive, and the Tolinda Trail begins a little way up Germantown.
Other Notes
- DO NOT LEAVE anything remotely desirable within view in your car. This trailhead has experienced much car clouting.
