Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Drive south on I-5 and take Exit 233 for Highway 20, the Santiam Highway, Lebanon and Sweet Home.

Turn left at the light onto Highway 20 for Lebanon. Drive 18.6 miles, passing through Lebanon, and turn left onto Fairview Road for McDowell County Park.

In 1.0 miles, bear left onto McDowell Creek Drive.

It’s another 7.7 miles to the first parking area for the county park on your right.

Continue 0.4 miles, passing the middle parking lot and picnic area, and keep left at a junction

Drive 0.1 miles and pull into a parking area on your left.
