At the rocky summit of Multorpor Mountain (bobcat)

Description

Multorpor Mountain is a small volcanic cone on the southern slopes of Mount Hood. Views from here extend north to the mountain and south to Mount Jefferson. To the east are Trillium Lake and Barlow Butte. An unsigned use trail heads steeply up to the summit.

The name of the mountain comes from a combination of MULTnomah, ORegon, and PORtland. The hill is named after the Multorpor Republican Club of Portland, a male-only political organization that was most active during the 1890s.
