Driving Directions
Take Exit 228 on I-5 South for Highway 34, Lebanon and Corvallis.
Turn right after the exit for Corvallis and O.S.U., and drive west 9.7 miles on Highway 34. Then make a left for Philomath, Oregon City and the Oregon Coast.
After 0.7 miles, go right for Highway 99W South and Junction City.
Drive south on 99 for 15.8 miles and then make a right onto Alpine Road for Alpine, Glenbrook and Alsea Falls.
Drive through Alpine for 4.2 miles and then bear left at a junction.
From here, it’s another 9.3 miles to the Alsea Falls Recreation Area after passing through Glenbrook. The road winds through the hills and loses its center line and then flattens.
Don’t turn right at the campground turnoff, but continue another 0.5 miles to the day-use (picnic) area. In winter, the gate is closed, so park to the side of the gate without blocking it.
Other Notes

- Alsea Falls Day-use and Campground areas open mid-May to September 30th
