Driving Directions
From downtown Portland:
Drive up N.W. Lovejoy Street to its end and make a right on Cornell Road for Macleay Park and the Audubon Society of Portland.
From here, it’s 1.5 miles, making two lefts and one right and going through two tunnels on winding Cornell Road, to the Audubon Society’s parking on the right. There are only a few parking places here and some of them are for half an hour only. Overflow parking is on the other side of Cornell. Otherwise, on busy days during summer and on weekends, you may have to park along Cornell itself or at the Macleay Park Trailhead after the second tunnel.
Alternatives to Driving
There is no direct bus access. Tri-met Bus #18 winds up through the Hillside neighborhood. Take Macleay Park trails from the dead-ends on Cumberland Road or NW Macleay Boulevard and hike down the slope to Cornell and the Audubon Society of Portland headquarters.
