Hike Description
This is a pleasant hike through the woods to the famous (or infamous) Bagby Hot Springs. The well-maintained trail starts at the Bagby Hot Springs Trailhead and almost immediately crosses over Nohorn Creek on a bridge. The trail generally follows the Hot Springs Fork of the Collawash River upstream for about 1.5 miles. A second bridge crosses the Hot Spring Fork near the springs. The first building you'll see is the historic ranger cabin.
There are three bathhouses at Bagby, each with its own personality. Detailed information on the springs and the tubs is located on the Bagby Hot Springs page.
The trail continues farther to a campsite and a 50 foot waterfall on Shower Creek, before heading on into the Bull of the Woods Wilderness.
