Fees and Regulations
- $5 fee for using the hot springs payable at trailhead; those just hiking do not need to pay
- Campground next to the trailhead; many backcountry campsites along the trail
- Northwest Forest Pass not required
Driving Directions
From Estacada:
From the east end of Estacada, at the junction with Highway 211S for Molalla, keep straight (left) on Highway 224 for North Fork Lake.
Keep going for 25.6 miles (Highway 224 becomes FR 46), passing the Ripplebrook Ranger Station and Campground to reach the junction with FR 57 for Timothy Lake.
Stay right here to keep on FR 46 and drive another 3.6 miles before turning right onto FR 63 for the Bagby Campground.
Proceed 3.6 miles and make a right turn uphill onto FR 70 (this junction may be unsigned).
Drive another 6.1 miles and turn left into the day-use parking area at the Bagby Trailhead.
Other Notes
Bagby has a long history of car break-ins. Don't leave anything of value in your car. Pack it with you or leave it at home.
