Keep going for 25.6 miles (Highway 224 becomes FR 46), passing the Ripplebrook Ranger Station and Campground to reach the junction with FR 57 for Timothy Lake.

Stay right here to keep on FR 46 and drive another 3.6 miles before turning right onto FR 63 for the Bagby Campground.

Proceed 3.6 miles and make a right turn uphill onto FR 70 (this junction may be unsigned).

Drive another 6.1 miles and turn left into the day-use parking area at the Bagby Trailhead.

Other Notes

Bagby has a long history of car break-ins. Don't leave anything of value in your car. Pack it with you or leave it at home.
