Bald Mountain

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Mount Hood from Bald Mountain (Tom Kloster)

Description

Bald Mountain is a peak on the northwest shoulder of Mount Hood. An almost forgotten trail leads to the summit and the remains of a fire lookout. The real draw is a viewpoint of Mount Hood just past the summit. Mount Adams can also be seen. There is a spectacular wildflower display on the south-facing meadows of Bald Mountain in July.
