Description
Belding Creek was rebellious in 2007. It decided to forge a completely new path beneath the railroad near the Salmonberry River. Today the railroad bridge lies buried in fallen trees and washed down logs. The creek flows beneath the unsupported rails to the west of the bridge.
The creek channel is still changing here, but in 2009, the best path is to drop to the Salmonberry River and rock hop across the mouth of Belding Creek.
