Driving Directions

Drive Highway 26 west from Portland. From where the I-217 entrance joins Highway 26, it’s 68.9 miles to where the highway splits to join Highway 101.

Bear right here for Seaside and Astoria and, in 0.4 miles, merge with Highway 101 north.

Drive north on 101 for 18.9 miles, crossing the Youngs Bay Bridge and reaching a roundabout. Go left here for Astoria City Center.

In 0.5 miles, turn left for Highway 101N, Ilwaco, and Long Beach.

Drive 4.3 miles across the Astoria Megler Bridge and turn left at the junction with Washington’s Highway 4 for Highway 101N, Ilwaco, and Long Beach.

Reach the junction with Highway 101 Alternate after 9.1 miles, and keep straight for Ilwaco and Long Beach.

Drive 2.1 miles into Ilwaco and reach the traffic light on First Street.

Turn right here to keep on Highway 101N for Long Beach. Drive 0.4 miles and turn right into the picnic area parking for Black Lake Park.
