Driving Directions
Take Exit 12A on I-205 South for Clackamas and Estacada, Highway 212E and 224E.
Drive 3.3 miles and bear right for Carver and Estacada on 224E.
Go 15.4 miles, passing through Estacada, to the junction for 211S for Molalla.
Keep straight at this junction for North Fork Lake, continuing on Highway 224 for 25.4 miles to the Ripplebrook Guard Station on your left.
Just past the guard station, go left on FR 4631. Drive 2.4 miles to a junction, passing an entrance to the Timberlake Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center and some ranger houses, and turn right onto FR 4630.
After 0.2 miles, the pavement ends. Continue 0.5 more miles and take a left on FR 4635.
Follow 4635 as it winds up the side of a ridge. After 8.7 miles on this road, turn right on the 140 spur at a sign for Cache Meadow Trail #702.
Drive 1.8 miles past the Cache Meadow Trailhead and a quarry, and turn left into a camping area. Find the extension of the Cripple Creek Trail leading into the woods.
