Description
Boomscooter Pond is a shallow pond at the north end of Stub Stewart State Park. When the area was being cut, it was used to store logs.
A "boomscooter" is a small boat used to push floating logs at a booming ground, a body of water where logs are kept until taken to the sawmill.
