Burnt Granite-Tarzan Springs Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The old fire circle at the junction (bobcat)

Description

As you are hiking the Burnt Granite Trail #595 on a lodgepole pine bench among an understory of rhododendrons, come to an old fire circle with a rusted tin can. The unofficial Tarzan Springs Trail peels off to the left. This trail was formerly part of the route of the abandoned Trail #568, which joined the Rho Creek Trail below Fadeaway Spring.

There may be a few trees down on the upper reaches of the trail. Most are easily navigated, but bring along a saw to deal with branches and the smaller trees as you descend to Tarzan Springs.
