  • Vault toilet, information kiosk, interpretive signs

Driving Directions

From Beaverton, drive about 15 miles west on Highway 26 and go left on Highway 6 for Banks and Tillamook.

Drive 51.9 miles on Highway 6.

At the junction with Highway 101 in Tillamook (second traffic light), turn left for Hebo and Newport.

Drive 27.3 miles south on Highway 101 and make a right turn onto Christensen Road for the Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge.

Head up narrow Christensen Road 0.4 miles to the Nestucca Bay Refuge Trailhead.

If the gate is open, you can continue 0.4 miles up Christensen Road, now gravel, to the Cannery Hill Trailhead (The refuge prefers able-bodied walkers to park at the Nestucca Bay Refuge Trailhead and walk up the hill).
