Cape Foulweather Viewpoint

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Gull Rock and the Yaquina Head Lighthouse from this spot (Steve Hart)
Flowers on Cape Foulweather (Steve Hart)
Cascade Head catchfly (Steve Hart)

Description

This is a beautiful viewpoint of the ocean only about 2/10 of a mile from the road. On clear days you can see the Yaquina Head Lighthouse to the south. The cliffs here are composed, like Yaquina Head and Cape Lookout, of Columbia River Basalts.
