Description
A collection of impressive thousand-year-old cedars, Cedar Flats is a popular lunch spot approximately a mile and a half up the Kopetski Trail in the Opal Creek Scenic Recreation Area, just north of the Opal Creek Wilderness boundary. Most hikers will turn around after reaching Cedar Flats, as the official trail along Opal Creek ends just a few hundred yards upstream at the crossing of Beachie Creek.
There are several campsites along the creek.
