Cedar Swamp Camp

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Herman Creek Cutoff Trail sign at the junction in Cedar Swamp (bobcat)
Large western red-cedar at Cedar Swamp Camp (bobcat)

Description

Cedar Swamp Camp is located just past the junction of the Herman Creek Trail and the Herman Creek Cutoff Trail. There are many old-growth western red-cedars, but a handful of them were toppled in 21st century storms. Numerous creeks run down the slope and through this area into the East Fork of Herman Creek.

A little further up on the Herman Creek Trail is Seven and a Half Mile Camp and the East Fork of Herman Creek where you can get drinking water.
