Chinook-Old Siouxon Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The Old Siouxon Trail leading up to the left below Chinook Falls (bobcat)

Description

An unmarked trail leads up to the right here just before the crossing of Chinook Creek below Chinook Falls. This is the old alignment of the Siouxon Trail, which led up a rather uninteresting slope and then descended to cross the Siouxon above Calamity Creek. The new alignment, which runs west of and close to the creek, keeps you within sight of the waterfalls and drops on the upper Siouxon. However, the old route is still navigable and can be used to make a loop with the new trail.
