Colorado Camp

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Outhouse at Colorado Camp

Description

At mile 3.3 is Colorado Camp at the mouth of Gordon Canyon. The road path departs from the railroad grade here to drop down and cross Gordon Creek. There's a track going down to a toilet and a nice camping area. A forest of invasive Ailanthus trees seems to be encroaching on everything.

The area for camping is less scenic than the campsites further along. There's a large field here to the north of the camp which is often used by the Boy Scouts.
