Curly Creek Falls

Description

Curly Creek Falls is one of the more interesting waterfalls in our area. Curly Creek has eroded softer rock behind a hard lava formation creating two rock arches. During the highest flow, the water runs over the lower arch. With intermediate flow, the creek flows completely under both arches. In times of lower flow (late summer and autumn), most of the creek disappears into porous rock, leaving the waterfall dry.
