From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Description

This junction is on the south slope of Lookout Mountain at its southwest corner. There is a small, not easily visible, sign on a tree. In addition to the official trails, there are user tracks on the summit ridge which might lead to some confusion. The Divide Trail #458 comes up from Gumjuwac Saddle and then merges with the High Prairie Trail #493 along the crest of Lookout Mountain.
