Dollar Lake

Description

Dollar Lake is a small pond about a quarter mile above the Timberline Trail. It's small, remarkably round, and has a sandy bottom. With no inflow or outflow stream, the pond makes a nice swimming hole (read bathtub?), but it isn't the best for drinking water.

There are three campsites. These can be full on summer weekends. This area is surprisingly busy for being so far off the beaten track.
