Dunn Ridge Meadow

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Crossing the meadow on Dunn Ridge, Fort Hoskins (bobcat)

Description

The big meadow on the west slope of Dunn Ridge is crossed by the larger of the two loops at Fort Hoskins County Park. There are views across the Luckiamute River valley as you cross and then switchback down the flowered field. There have been attempts to reseed the area with native blooms, most notably Sidalcea and Eriophyllum (Oregon sunshine).
