- Green Lakes via Fall Creek Hike (TH | <— —> | LOG)
Fees, Regulations, etc.
- Northwest Forest Pass (or America the Beautiful Pass) required
- Central Cascades Wilderness Permit required: $6 overnight permit; $1 per person day use (June 15th - October 15th)
- Self-issued wilderness permit
- There are limited camping sites available in Green Lakes area, and backpackers can only camp in designated areas.
- Dogs on leash at all times from July 15th to September 15th
- Vault toilet and picnic tables at trailhead
Driving Directions
From the north in Bend:
Driving south on Highway 97, Take Exit 138 for downtown and Mt. Bachelor.
Go 0.2 miles, and turn right on Colorado Avenue.
Go 1.6 miles on Colorado, passing through a traffic circle.
At a second traffic circle, go left on Century Drive, and proceed 24.1 miles, passing through one more traffic circle and then Century Drive becomes the Cascade Lakes National Scenic Byway.
Turn right into the large parking circle at the Green Lakes/Soda Creek Trailhead.
From the south in Bend:
Driving north on Highway 97, take Exit 139 for Reed Market Road.
Turn left onto Reed Market Road after exiting, and drive 1.6 miles, going straight through three traffic circles and crossing the Deschutes River.
At the fourth traffic circle, go left on Century Drive, and proceed 23.8 miles (Century Drive becomes the Cascade Lakes National Scenic Byway).
Turn right into the large parking circle at the Green Lakes/Soda Creek Trailhead.
