Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Drive I-84 east to Exit 44 for Cascade Locks and Stevenson. Go 0.3 miles after exiting the freeway, and then bear right for the Bridge of the Gods Toll Bridge and Stevenson.

Drive 0.8 miles, passing the toll booth ($3) and crossing the Columbia River, to the junction with Highway 14.

Turn right here for Stevenson and Kennewick. Go 6.0 miles before making a left turn at a roundabout onto the Wind River Road for Carson.

Drive 5.8 miles, passing through Carson, before turning right onto Old State Road for the Panther Creek Campground.

Go 0.1 miles, and then turn left onto Panther Creek Road.

Keep to this road as you wind up for 11.1 miles to the Four Corners junction (after 0.9 miles it becomes FR 65).

Keep straight at Four Corners and drive 1.9 miles to a junction.

Bear right here on FR 65 at MP12. Now the road becomes gravel. Go another 3.2 miles and turn left into Falls Creek Horse Camp.

You can park in the space in front of the sign for the Falls Creek Trail #152.
