Driving Directions

Drive Highway 26 east. From the last traffic light in Sandy, go 28.0 miles through Zigzag and Rhododendron, and then turn left (across from the entrance to Ski Bowl West) onto Road 522 for Glacier View

Drive 0.2 miles to the trailhead. In the summer, you can drive a little farther to a large map sign of the ski trails in the area and a picnic table.

In winter, the parking area will be closer to Highway 26 and tends to get full on busy weekends.

Fees, Regulations, etc.

  • Northwest Forest Pass (or America the Beautiful Pass) required; port-a-potty provided
  • Oregon Sno*Park Permit required from November 1st to April 30th
