Driving Directions
Take Exit 3 off of I-405 for Highway 30W and St. Helens. Stay left and in the middle lane for about one mile until you reach the Nicolai Street traffic light.
Keep straight here and drive 8.6 miles to the traffic light at the junction with Sauvie Island Road.
From this point, it’s 67.2 miles, one mile past the Gnat Creek Hatchery, to make a right turn for the Gnat Creek Campground.
Drive down gravel Gnat Creek Road 0.1 miles, and pull off to the left or right at the trailhead parking area before the bridge over Gnat Creek.

- Gnat Creek Campground is open all year; walk-in tent sites are $5/night.
