Description
Located in the upper Jordan Basin, southwest of Goat Lake near the highest part of Goat Ridge, is a nice alpine meadow area, with a number of nice campsites.
This is a better place to camp than Goat Lake because it is less windy and exposed to the weather if it gets bad. It doesn't say you can't build a fire, but there are so few trees, it would be a shame to do so.
You can get drinking water from the stream next to the trail.
There are a couple other campsites near the trail, within a mile in the direction of Berry Patch Trailhead.
