Description

This trail junction is the end of the Gorton Creek Trail. Heading north from here, you'll walk 11.8 miles to reach the Herman Creek Trailhead.

The Herman Creek Cutoff Trail heads west passed an abandoned World War II signal hut steeply downhill for 2.3 miles to the Herman Creek Trail.

The Rainy-Wahtum Trail is the "through trail" here, connecting Rainy Lake, 1 mile to the northeast with Wahtum Lake, 5.6 miles to the southwest.
