Hellroaring Creek-Island Spring Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Old sign at the junction (bobcat)

Description

The Hellroaring Creek Trail #10 is a loop that begins and ends at Bench Lake. The Island Spring Trail #66 is an unmaintained trail that gets more difficult to follow every year. It leads from this lush meadow up a very brushy slope and then switchbacks to rise to a bench which was the location of an old sheep camp above Island Spring.
