Description
Hood River Meadows is fed by Meadows Creek, one of the sources of the East Fork Hood River, and though surrounded by ski development, retains a large degree of its natural character. The meadows are located on an abandoned segment of the Mount Hood Loop Highway, and an abandoned campground is located in the forest to the east of the meadows. The Sahale Falls Trail crosses the old highway segment where it passes within view of the meadows
