Description
In the Racetrack Meadow, the sign for this junction shows the way to the Pacific Crest Trail, less than half a mile to the east, via the Racetrack Shortcut Trail #171A. From here, the Indian Racetrack Trail #171 continues straight into the forest and on to the lookout atop Red Mountain.
