Inspiration Point

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Describe pic here

Description

The Eagle Creek Trail start out quite level, but after the junction with the Eagle-Tanner Trail, it climbs quite steeply. Rising along the wall of the West Fork Canyon, the trail reaches the divide between the East and West Forks. There is a beautiful view here through the burned trees down the main Eagle Creek Canyon toward the Columbia River. It's worth the climb.
