Notes

Car break-ins have increased at this location over the years due to the proximity to the Interstate. Hikers are warned not to leave valued possessions in your car. Carry your wallet with you and leave everything else at home. Some hikers leave their glove compartments open and cars unlocked, as clouters are usually attracted to easy to grab valuables and identity information and not the car itself.

Portland Hikers Field Guide is built as a collaborative effort by its user community. While we make every effort to fact-check, information found here should be considered anecdotal. You should cross-check against other references before planning a hike. Trail routing and conditions are subject to change. Please contact us if you notice errors on this page.
