Hikes starting here

Fees, Facilities, etc.

  • Park open 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Dogs on leash
  • Playground, picnic tables, port-a-potty

Driving Directions

From the north:

Take I-5 south to Exit 297 for Terwilliger Boulevard.

Turn right after exiting onto Barbur Boulevard, and drive 120 yards to a traffic light.

Turn left here onto Terwilliger Boulevard, cross back over I-5, and drive 0.7 miles to the junction with Taylors Ferry Road.

Make a right here, and go 0.5 miles, passing the first junction with Taylors Ferry Court.

Turn left at the second junction with Taylors Ferry Court (There's a sign for Marshall Park), and proceed 70 yards.

Make a right onto 12th Drive, and go 0.4 miles to the turnaround circle at the entrance to Marshall Park. Drive around the circle, and park on the side of the road off the tarmac.

From the south:

Take I-5 north to Exit 295 for Taylors Ferry Road.

Come to a Stop sign after exiting, and continue straight for 1.0 miles on Taylors Ferry Road.

Turn right at the junction with Taylors Ferry Court (There's a sign for Marshall Park), and proceed 70 yards.

Make a right onto 12th Drive, and go 0.4 miles to the turnaround circle at the entrance to Marshall Park. Drive around the circle, and park on the side of the road off the tarmac.

Alternatives to Driving

Tri-met Bus #43 runs along Taylors Ferry Road. There are stops one block before and after 18th Place. Walk down 18th Place for 350 yards to the Marshall Park Trailhead (on 18th).
