Mist Park Viewpoint

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

View to Mist Park and Mother Mountain (bobcat)

Description

This viewpoint is off the Spray Park Trail to the left as you cross a high bench with meadows that bloom with avalanche lilies in late summer. Get an expansive view down to Mist Park, the Cataract Creek valley and the crags of Mother Mountain.

An unofficial trail, making a loop back to your car, leads along this dropoff to Knapsack Pass and thence to Mowich Lake.
