Description

As of August 2007, this crossing is deemed impassable - take the PCT route instead. (observed 2007/08/01)

There is a somewhat difficult crossing of the Muddy Fork on the Timberline Trail.

There is drinking water just before and just after. The best camping spot is just south.

The Pacific Crest Trail used to go along here, but was shifted west because of the difficult crossing here.
