Driving Directions

From I-5 near Salem, take Highway 22 east towards Detroit. After ~35 miles, just east of the town of Gates, turn north on Niagara Heights Rd at the big water wheel. Find the trailhead just after the 6 mile marker.

Other Notes

The gravel road is steep, but should be managable in a passenger vehicle in fair weather. The trailhead is usually inaccesible in the winter.
