Description
Jetties funnel tidal and river flows here at the south tip of Nehalem Spit. At high tide, there is not much sandy beach exposed, either on the ocean side or the bay side. You can look across the bay mouth to the South Jetty and Nedonna Beach.
The bar is shallow and dangerous here; this generates some big waves on stormy days. There are always harbor seals in the vicinity.
