Observation Peak

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The view from Observation Peak (Cheryl Hill)

Description

Observation Peak used to be the site of a fire lookout cabin; the structure was decommissioned in the 1960s. The views up here are wide-ranging. You can see Mount Saint Helens, Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, Mount Hood, and Mount Jefferson on a clear day. The wildflowers in July are beautiful, but the mosquitoes that time of year are also prolific.
