Olallie Lake-Long Lake Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Just east of the junction on the Long Lake Trail (bobcat)

Description

Note: As of 2017, a sign has been posted at the Olallie Lake end of the Long Lake Trail stating that only tribal members and authorized personnel can use the trail and access Long and Dark Lakes. Please respect this sign. Those lakes are now out of bounds until further notice.

This unmarked junction is at the southeast corner of Olallie Lake, actually on the Warm Springs Reservation. Warm Springs' Long Lake Trail 12 leads east into the snags of the 2001 burn, while the Olallie Lake Trail #731 continues around the shore of Olallie Lake.
