From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

(Redirected from Old Elk Cove Trailhead)
Where the Elk Cove Trail leaves the road bed of FR 2840-650 (bobcat)

Description

This was the start of the Elk Cove Trail for many years. (The original Depression-era trailhead started on the east side of the Eliot Branch at the north end of the Parkdale Lava Beds.) The road was closed in the 1990s, and the trailhead was moved 1.2 miles down to the start of the road.
