Opie Dilldock Pass

Description

Opie Dilldock Pass is a high point of the loop around the Three Sisters on the northwest side (6900 feet). The only higher point is on the southeast side (over 7000 feet).

You get great closeup views of the Middle and North Sisters, and to areas north including Mount Washington and Mount Jefferson.

The area is very rocky with a littlef vegetation. The trail is on rocky terrain. You have to watch your step a bit, but otherwise the trail is pretty good. There is snow in places, even late in the summer.

There's no drinking water or good camping spots.
