Description
The modern Pacific Crest Trail is an amalgamation of older trails, connecting construction and more recent reroutes. The original trail in this area was the Skyline Trail. In this area, it climbed high on the side on Mount Hood into Paradise Park. The original trail switched back here and a newer rerouted trails heads straighter north. The old route is now called the Pardaise Park Loop Trail.
