Description

Pacific Crest Falls is a really pretty waterfall just above the Crest Trail in the Columbia River Gorge. It suffers from a lock of attention, probably due to it's rather modest water flow in the summer. In the rainy season however, it's a very pretty area. Water falls from two separate notches in the rockface directly into a narrow chasm. Below the chasm the united stream falls over a second basalt lip, this time making a single horsetail. The water than cascades down a broken rock rock path reminiscent of the lower section of Wahkeena Falls.
