Driving Directions

The Paradise Park Trailhead provides access to Paradise Park from the south using the Paradise Park Hike. It's easier to get to Paradise Park using the Paradise Park from Timberline Lodge Hike.

To get to the Paradise Park Trailhead, go 6 miles past Zigzag on U.S. 26 (24 miles East of Sandy, 4 miles West of Government Camp). Go North on road 39 (paved) marked "Kiwanis Camp". 1.2 miles from U.S. 26 is the Paradise Park Trailhead.

At the trailhead, there is a 0.1 mile rocky road barely passable for regular passenger vehicles. You could park near the paved road and avoid this. There is a primitive camping area big enough for a number of groups of people, no picnic tables or anything and no fee. It's a little bit junky because it's not maintained too frequently.

2 miles from U.S. 26 is the Hidden Lake Trailhead.
