Description
This unnamed peak is shown on the topo map with its elevation, 3152'. It's easy to hike up to on several faint trails. You get great views to the south, but unfortunately Mount Hood is hidden behind the continuation of Nick Eaton Ridge. The area was completely burned over during the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire.
The easiest way to get there is from the Ridge Cutoff junction on the Nick Eaton Trail. Continue east on the Nick Eaton Trail about 1/4 mile to a saddle on the other side of Peak 3152. Then look for a faint trail going up (northwest) to the summit. You can also get there on a fainter trail east from the cutoff junction.
There is a flat place for a campsite, but it's very exposed so it'll be windier.
Since this is off trail, you won't see too many other people up there, but don't be surprised if some other person hikes up there because of the great views.
