Description

Pinnacle Meadows is on the Pinnacle Ridge Trail about 0.7 miles down from the Timberline Trail. Quite simply, it is a muddy place. Water seems to spring from everywhere creating a beautiful, if soggy spot. The trail works it way around the steep west side of the meadow, providing beautiful views and muddy boots. In August 2007, flagging marked a drier, if temporary trail a bit farther west.
